Dinosaurs, the major exhibition of Cap Sciences
Once upon a time… more than 66 million years ago.
We are in the Mesozoic era (between 251 and 66 million years ago), populated by Dinosaurs such as the triceratops, the stegosaurus, the tyrannosaurus, the ankylosaurus or the baryonyx… DINOSAURS is a fascinating exhibition that immerses us in the rediscovery of the past, the Cretaceous, Jurassic and Triassic periods.
This exhibition will answer children’s questions: what were the conditions of life on Earth at that time? What did dinosaurs eat ? How did they camouflage or defend themselves? What did they look like : carnivores, herbivores, feathered, hairy or scaly?
Cap Sciences
It is an interactive exhibition centre with activities dedicated to science.
Several spaces of the place are entirely designed for young people, with various workshop proposals (photography, molecular cuisine, eco-citizen, etc.).
The 3-6 year old area offers a permanent exhibition called “Le P’tit Cap”
The youth workshops are scheduled exclusively during the school holidays (by reservation and for a fee)
