Bill, a renowned magician, perfectionist and meticulous about every detail of his show, finds it difficult to pass on his knowledge to his assistant, the Kid, a restless character of free electrons.

To preserve the future of his show in the face of his disciple's carelessness and clumsiness, Bill decides to put the Kid to the test in front of his audience.
