The Bat³ – TBM river shuttle
Pronounced “Batcube”, the Bordeaux fleet is made up of three boats: the Avocette, the Gondola and the Hirondelle. These river and hybrid shuttles allow you to “zigzag” between the banks with the TBM season ticket card or the same tickarte, thus facilitating connections with other means of transport in the TBM network. Each shuttle can accommodate up to 45 passengers and 6 bikes. The shuttles are also equipped for people with reduced mobility, two seats are reserved for them at the front.

- You will find a “passenger information” at each pontoon: a sign (translated into English and Spanish) with an illustrated map will make it easier to find your way around.

What to do near stopovers?
- From the “Stalingrad” pontoon, discover Le Lion de Veilhan, a huge sculpture made by Xavier Veilhan and installed on the Place Stalingrad in 2005
- The “Quinconces” pontoon is close to the Grand Théâtre and will allow you to walk along the huge wooded esplanade of the Quinconces, ideal in summer! In the heart of the very chic Golden Triangle district, you will have access to the Place des Grands Hommes and its gourmet shops and you will be on the circuit of the Little Electric Train
- From the “Hangars” stopover , find the Chartrons district, a former Mecca of Bordeaux trade, it is now completely rehabilitated for walks as well as for casual and bohemian shopping. Picnic or terraces, on foot, by bike or scooter, we are a stone’s throw from the skatepark to please teenagers, as well as the famous M.U.R of street art on Place Avisseau where you can follow a guided tour or visit the Museum of Wine and Commerce with your family!
- From the pontoon La Cité du Vin, you can access a small jewel of contemporary architecture La Cité du Vin where you will find workshops, conferences, tastings and permanent collections. Located in the newly rehabilitated Bacalan district, you can eat at Les Halles and discover the witness water basins of the old port district of Bordeaux. Still a stone’s throw from this stopover, we arrive at the Bassin des Lumières and near the Musée Mer Marine
- The Lormont Bas stopover allows you to leave Bordeaux very easily for a new nature and heritage walk where you can use your Logbook for a treasure hunt by bike to discover old Lormont between park and bodies of water sheltering ecosystems classified as an area of ecological, floristic and ecological interest. A quiet and relaxing place, ideal for children, cycling and for all nature lovers
